This Is a Documentary Series that I have been working on since the summer. I have spent a lot of time within the community attending their events and learning more about them. As I continued to be apart of this community I discovered that it was very family oriented, open to different identities, diverse, and supportive. I took it upon myself to get in contact with the heads of different skate organizations, well known skaters within the NYC community, local skaters, local skate parks, local skate shops, etc and set up interviews with them. I did this in order to create a series that would give a realistic perception of the community and give people all over the world something that they can watch and relate to.

THE WATCHER

Check Out My Short Film, The Watcher, I plan to further develop this film in order to expand on the overall concept and create a more in depth narrative. I have been inspired to further develop this idea due to a grant/award I have received from my school in support my thesis film project. I plan to use this as my thesis film project in order to have it evaluated and critiqued along the production process. Over the 3 semesters it will take to develop this film I plan to receive as much mentorship as I possibly can in order to make sure that I produce this film to the best of my abilities.
